Ok I have a question about my diet. First im a vegan and eat natural food..brown rice, fruits, veggies, legumes/beans, tofu. Very little processed food. I just recently started eating oatmeal and fruit for breakfast and found that I have been getting a lot more gas than usual… I wasnt eating fruit for a couple months. But I get way more gas now and have two bowel movements a day now..Is this because of the natural oatmeal and fruit in the morning? Cause I used to eat bagels or cereal.

Yes the fructose in the fruit can cause stomach problems (bloating, gas, etc). It sounds like the oatmeal is probably not the cause because you already have a lot of fiber in your diet.

According to ivillage.com:
Fruits that are high in fructose include apples, apricots, pears, cherries, plums, prunes and peaches (as well as their juices). Try limiting these or at least cut down on the portions you eat. Also avoid high-fructose corn sweeteners. Try not to lie down after meals or to take in large amounts of air (gulping foods or chewing gum). In general, it helps to get regular exercise, reduce stress. You can also try adding a drop of peppermint, cinnamon or ginger extract to a glass of water.

The source of the gas like broccoli beans some foods are prone to giving us gas especially since youve always eaten beans and body chemistry changes can cause gas especially since youve always eaten beans some foods are prone to giving us gas.
The oatmeal is the gas issues wouldnt worry about gas cup of the oatmeal is the source of the gas too much if it really bothers you you you you could try digestive upsets and.
