wolffox asked:

I now eat little fat in my meals, almost no oil, no meat, sometimes fish/shrimp(mostly boiled)
i eat whole wheat bread, fruit, Veggie, low fat, low sugar food, drink pretty of water, no diary food for me (i drink soymilk).
but why am i so constipated? every time i go to the bathroom, i have the unfinished feeling, there is always something left in my body, which is really annoying, because my belly kind of sticks out.
shouldn’t i have much better bowel movements since i am eating low-fat, high-fiber food?
can someone help me?

Thanks
Ok, guys. I eat fish, only for the Omega 3 in it. And i love seafood in general, i eat fish like once the other week, so most of my meals are 100% vegan. I just thought it would be easier to explain it this way.

Believe it or not, you really may not be getting enough fat to really properly eliminate the waste from your body.

If by upping your fiber and drinking more water you still have the problem, I would suggest adding more fat to your diet.

If that doesn’t work, talk to your doctor as their are a variety of things that could be causing the problem.

As already pointed out, fish isn’t part of a vegetarian/vegan diet. You have a diet where you have made the choice of cutting red meats from your diet, but not all animal protein.
